Great HomePages for Teachers

One educator's site that I visit nearly every week is Kathy Schrock's. It is simply the best site for teachers that I have come across in three years on the net. Be prepared to stay awhile. Make sure to visit her slide shows. Do you ever wonder how talented people are using the web in their classrooms? Dr. Bernie Dodge at San Diego State University is developing "WebQuests." His ideas are especially interesting to me and I am attempting to implement his ideas as I try to bring geography, the web, and kids together. Another site that I regularly visit is the K-Page. Kevin Werbach is a multi-talented young cyberthinker whose work I admire. His discussions on HTML and design are especially helpful if you are thinking about putting a page up. Another page that I regularly visit is the home of Will-Harris House. His discussion of typography and design is really interesting reading. Someday I may try to do some of the awesome things his designs do.
